Students Love Harvard YLC

"YLC was an amazing experience. I Learned alot about leadership, made friends worldwide. The conference was well-organized and inspiring. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to broaden their perspective on leadership and make meaningful connections."

Freya Grade 9, Oberoi International School, Mumbai

"I found the conference to be both inspiring and transformative. I truly loved the opportunity to interact with so many people from around the country, each offering different perspectives. These diverse ideas and visions came together in a remarkable way, culminating in the creation of our social change project. That experience was undoubtedly the highlight of the program for me!”

Saira Chahal Grade 10, Strawberry Fields High School

"This conference was truly exhilarating. Although i found the conference to be absolutely amazing, the best part was meeting like-minded people from across the country and that opens up so many possibilities. The Mentors know so much - be it women's rights or biomedical or computer science - I loved speaking and learning from them!”

Anushka Tandon Grade 9, Dhirubhai Ambani School

“I loved how absolutely engaging the conference was. Meeting so many great people from across the country was amazing!”

Tanvi YLC 2023, Pathways World School, Gurgaon

“YLC is a great opportunity to learn from diverse communities, improve communication and leadership skills, and gain invaluable mentorship for success. Everyone should Attend YLC, as it's an incredible place with amazing people to develop as a leader and better oneself.”

Sahithi Grade 10, Future kid's School, Hyderabad

“The YLC conference is very action-provoking. It has taught me that if I’m passionate about something I must push harder and try to be an achiever even at an early age. That way, YLC has made me feel empowered.”

Shizah Kashmir Grade 12, Gems Wellington Academy, Silicon Oasis

“All the mentors were well trained and they used creative techniques to teach us. The use of psychology or the storytelling method were subtle ways of teaching leadership. Moreover, the conference was very unique mainly because you were talking to us like we were adults capable of making a change in our own way.”

Tanya Tilokani Grade 12, Cambridge International School, Dubai, UAE

“I learned so many things that I can use in the future. The conference was engaging and so much fun - truly a different experience! Also I loved the crowdfunding session and the energisers!”

Aaminah YLC 2022, B.D Somani International School

“I have become so much more confident in presentation and doing something on the stage. I feel I can appeal to a crowd just by talking to them which I didn't feel before. The main reason why I would recommend it is because of the counselors, they were great.”

Raeed Zainuddin Grade 8, Sun Beams High School, Bangladesh

Unleash the leader in you!

Led by accomplished mentors from prestigious leadership institutions, the Youth Lead the Change Conference empowers high school students to cultivate confidence, collaboration, and communication skills necessary for solving global issues and driving positive change in the world. Throughout the 7-day program, participants work with their mentor-led group to gain a deep understanding of a pressing global concern – be it mental health, poverty, or climate change – and create a project to address it.

Upon completion of the program, students have the opportunity to receive year-long mentorship to further develop and implement their social change project. What sets this workshop apart is that its mentors are not just lecturers, but current university students who have already gained valuable experience and training at a young age and understand the complexities of growing up in the 21st century. By breaking down age-based authority structures and engaging in hands-on activities, the mentors become approachable advisors and supportive friends to the participants. Due to its effectiveness, the workshop is in high demand and has been held in various countries such as Japan, Myanmar, Colorado, Dubai, and Puerto Rico.
