The Global Business Program is a unique opportunity for students passionate about entrepreneurship and business. It brings the frameworks and teachings of a highly acclaimed course to students, offering them the opportunity to receive a world-class education and expand their global visions.

The curriculum of the Global Business Program is comprised of multiple essential modules that will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to launch their own successful businesses. This is a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable insights and hands-on experience in the world of entrepreneurship and business, directly from experts in the field.

You'll immerse yourself in the culture, academics, and life of a vibrant community, where professors and corporate guest speakers share their insights and real-world experience. Classroom instruction is supplemented with independent research, assignments and team projects. Teams work together to create a comprehensive business plan and present their business plans at the end of the session.

This program is tailored to help students build confidence and learn about their strengths through teamwork, enhance their communications and oral presentation skills, explore a variety of business subjects through an interactive curriculum, learn how to write a business plan and turn their ideas into a business, develop the research skills essential to business, and create a network of like-minded students from across the globe.

This program is a great opportunity for high school students to get a taste of the industry and get a head start on their future career. It's a chance to learn from real-world professionals and college faculty, receive mentorship, and hear from innovative leaders. This creates both the chance for mentorship and the foundation of a business network that can serve you both inside and outside of the classroom.

Stimulate creativity, understand idea generation, and draw inspiration from others, students are equipped with tools and techniques for an innovative mindset.

Think creatively and logically, and to experiment, absorb strategies from mentors for testing and prototyping, aiming for the perfect end-user product/service.

Elevator Pitch & Raising Funds

Business costs, their impact on pricing, and the principles of elevator pitching, students calculate required funds, explore funding sources, and craft a compelling elevator pitch for their business plan.

Prof Daniel McQuade

Director, Ivy Entrepreneurship Centre

A Senior Marketing and Advertising Executive with over three decades of experience in developing and implementing strategies for retail industries. He is currently a Business Instructor at the Columbia-Harlem Small Business Development Center and Co-Founder at Know Seafood which is on a mission to transform seafood supply chains and make sustainable, accessible, and transparent seafood products. .

His expertise includes new product development, cultivating brand affinity and loyalty, and cause marketing programs. He has handled every aspect, from product design to retail launch and the development of a national sales network.
