By education, he is a doctor specializing in Ophthalmology. He was a practicing doctor and managing Bhumi until 2016 when he decided to quit the medical profession and devote all his energies to Bhumi. At Bhumi, he guides program strategy & fundraising.

She believes that in life one should experience the variety and learn as much as possible by experimenting and taking risks. In every game, the fun is in playing and not just sitting on the edge and being a spectator. Her 33 years long career is a living example of this tenet. If this is mixed with spirituality, faith, culture, and heritage, the journey becomes a joyous ride.

After spending time with Yuwa’s young female coaches in Dharavi in Mumbai, she moved to Yuwa’s base in rural Jharkhand. Rose coordinated Yuwa’s education program for two years before founding Yuwa School in 2015. Today she acts as Yuwa School’s Education Director, as well as working on fundraising, report writing, recruiting and training staff, alumni relations, and coordinating the many travel opportunities for Yuwa participants. Rose has a BA in International Relations from Hendrix College, a CELTA Pass A certificate, and many years of experience as a writing tutor.

Career counseling has remained one of his passion areas. He has completed his certification in College Advising from Columbia University and UCLA ext. He has also completed the Executive Program in Management (EPM) from Cornell University. Dhaval is also an active keynote speaker at internationally known conferences and has contributed to leading publications including the WSJ, Moneycontrol, CNN, and NDTV. He is also the President of the University of Michigan India Alumni Association.
